What do you know that I don't know?

As a food lover, I am in a constant search for a delicious meal, at a decent price, in a convenient location.

Let me tell you, in case you don't already know, these places are difficult to find.

When I do find that occasional perfect perch, I always wonder, am I the only one who knows its here? I mean, I know that it is nearly impossible because of sites like Chowhound, not that I'd have it any other way, I always love another foodie's opinion.
But when you do find that little place, do you think its a good idea to share? Don't you sometimes want to just be selfish and keep it to yourself, so that it stays the way you like it?

One of the most interesting things about the global world we live in is that if we do share our favorite little dinner spot, or even our favorite city, our enthusiasm encourages everyone else to want to experience it.
This translates into the question of sharing your favorite vacation spot. What if you love those tiny little villages, or even those entire countries, where everyone speaks the local language and no one wants tourism to invade, do you share it? Will sharing your little piece of the world do more harm for it than good?

Sure everyone will be able to see what you saw and can open their mind to a new place, a new people, a new culture, but is that really the best thing to do?

Will you share your favorite place with me?
