Make Stuffed Artichokes.
or, better yet, have your mommy make them. And invite your wife aka best buddy over.
Sorry I've gone missing. After the computer debacle in San Francisco, I had to recoup my losses and do lots of photo work to pay for the computer.
I was looking to last week to catch up on some blogging, but then I realized I had 2 days off work in a row and decided to fly to Boston to check out the Masters Program in Gastronomy at Boston University.
While I was gone, there was a HUGE storm in MD. I got a call while I was sitting in on the Food in Visual Arts class, telling me that my bedroom had flooded with 4ft of water. FOUR FEET.
Now, I am sitting in my old bedroom at my parents house, and I am procrastinating cleanup.
Life keeps giving me lemons. First the computer, then the flood, and tonight on my way home I got a flat tire. Simple fix, put on the spare, right? Wrong! The jerks who put my tires on over-tightened the bolts and they are impossible to remove. This happened last time I had a flat so I know it was their fault. The good news is I work nearly across the street from the tire place. So , my car is in their lot, and I have to wake up at 6am so my Dad can drop me off at the car place before work. Just what I wanted to deal with tomorrow morning. I didnt want to go to the gym. HA.
Anyway, mom is making stuffed artichokes for dinner tomorrow. I am excited. If I would be there for prep I would photograph, but I wont. I will be working. Maybe you will get a deconstructed photo. Assuming my camera wasn't destroyed in the flood.
I am trying to look on the bright side, really I am. Its not so bad. It could be worse. I hope it doesnt get worse.
On the bright side... it is Baltimore Beer Week next week. In anticipation, Chris and I went to Church Key in DC last week. I have photos. Maybe while I wait for my car to be fixed I will be able to write a post about the awesomeness.
Miss this place.
