Brewbound Chowhound

The Charleston Brewvival is coming up this weekend. The first annual
festival was such a blast that I started planning this trip on the car
ride home.

This year we are so geared up that we decided to turn the trip into a
pilgrimage. On the way from Annapolis, MD to Charleston, SC we are
road tripping through Asheville, NC and Greenville, SC.

We've discovered that North Carolina has a lot to offer besides
beautiful vistas. It also has tons of beer!

While in NC we will be dropping in at Brusin' Ales, Barleys Taproom,
and the Thirsty Monk. From the looks of all the food forums, the
consensus is that The Admiral may make a great dinner stop. Maybe beer
will suffice for the other two meals?

Greenville plans are for the Community Tap, and Thomas Creek Brewery.
We plan on takin 81S all the way in, so any lunch or pit stop
recommendations would be appreciated.

Wish us luck and good imbibing!
